Honoring Fr. Mike: Retirement Celebration

After many years of dedicated service and spiritual guidance, Fr. Mike is preparing for a well-deserved retirement. Please join our parish family in honoring him during his final weekend with the English Community on June 6 & 7. Fr. Mike will be available to greet parishioners and accept well-wishes after the following services:

  • Saturday, June 6: Following the 4:00 PM Mass
  • Sunday, June 7: Following the 8:30 AM Mass


Retirement Reception

Our main celebration will take place on Sunday, June 7, immediately following the 10:30 AM Mass in St. Helen’s Hall. All parishioners and guests are warmly invited to gather, share favorite stories, and wish Fr. Mike good luck. Please bring your favorite food items and dishes to share with the community. Thank you, Fr. Mike, for your years of faith, leadership, and service!


The weekend of June 13 & 14 will be his final mass with the Hispanic Community.

  • Saturday, June 13: Following the 5:00PM Mass
  • Sunday, June 14: Following the 8:30AM Mass


The main celebration and potluck gathering will take place after the 11:30AM mass on June 14 in the St. Alexander’s Hall. 


St. Helen's Class of 1976 are Celebrating their 50th Class Reunion

We have a special milestone to announce! The St. Helen's Class of 1976 is celebrating their 50th class reunion on June 14, 2026 at the 10:30AM Mass at St. Helen's. All alumni and parishioners are invited to join the celebration. Congratulations to the Class of 1976!

Food Pantry

The third Saturday of each month 10AM,St. Helen. Must be a registered member of the parish, a school family or located in the demographic vicinity of the parish. FP 2026 dates are as follows: Feb. 21, Mar. 21, Apr. 18, May 16, June 19, July 17, Aug. 21, Sept. 19, Oct. 17, Nov. 21, Dec. 19. NOTE: JUNE, JULY & AUGUST Fridays 4:30-6 p.m. Drive Thru only.


Las Samaritanas

"La Samarita" is a group created by women for women. Our aim is to provide spiritual and emotional support by helping women grow in their Catholic faith and navigate life's challenges. In this group, you will fijnd a safe space to connect with other women in your community, pray together, share experiences, support one another, find a sense of belonging and purpose and receive encouragement. God has entrusted us with a heart capable of loving, supporting, and transforming, but we also need to grow, learn and share the journey with other women who seek the same goal; to grow their faith and learn to cope with daily challenges.

Spanish Marriage Group

The Cana Group, a group for married couples, meets every Wednesday at 7 PM in the annex of St. Alexander Church. Come join us! We support each other to strengthen our marriages and our relationship with our Catholic faith. We discuss various topics weekly. All couples, married or not, are welcome. Homebound Ministry

Visiting, listening, talking with individuals and bringing the Eucharist and offering prayers to provide spiritual nourishment. Please contact our Outreach Ministry for more information

SVDP Meal Site

Consider volunteering with us, on the 2nd Friday of each month, 4:30PM at the SVDP Meal Site located at 931 W. Madison. The meal site serves around 120 grateful souls who enjoy a hot meal, a smile and friendly conversation.
